I’d recommend the jockey bralettes I have. They are pull over the head, a soft material (nylon spandex blend) and have nipple coverage and adequate support for B and C cup, they’re comfy enough I’ve worn them to yoga but they look appropriate for the office. The cup does remove but the split to get it out is so small and I think they could be very easily fixed in place with a handful of not expert stitches. Sorry it doesn’t hit every bullet point but maybe Jockey has something similar but better, too. The exact bras I have aren’t available anymore but the Jockey website has this search tool to help you out. The Jockey line sold at Target is pretty comfy too in my experience.

Unfortunately they really need to be not removable. Trying to stitch them is beyond my executive functioning and won’t happen.

Ooh that first one is what I had in mind! Ty! I will look for those and try them on.

Bonus points to sending me target products while I’m n the car (not driving lol) on the way to target.

They say removable pads, but mine has never come out in the months I’ve had it. I wash and dry in laundry machines and the cups have stayed firmly in.

They don’t flip? I’ve never had a removable one not fold on itself while washing. Bearing in mind my life does not accommodate delicate loads right now. Everything gets thrown in together, may the odds be ever in your favor, please dear god let me get this load started before the toddler figures out how to open the knife drawer, amen.

Sad update to this, toddler was In A Mood so bras did not happen.

I have been really liking the Auden line of bralettes and have also had good luck with calvin klein and jockey in the past. If anyone is in the market for some basic briefs I recommend these: Hanes Women's 3pk Renew Microfiber Modern Briefs - Colors May Vary 7 : Target they’ve help us considerably well and don’t dig in or create a wedgie.

Apologies for what might be my 3rd shout-out to these bras but I’m a big fan. The pads are not removable, though they might be glued in place rather than sewn in. I wash everything on normal (but hang dry a lot) and never had the pads come loose. The fabric is quick dry so as long as my day wasn’t too sweaty, I can usually hang to air out and wear a few times before washing.

My issue is just not being able to try stuff on. I have huge issues with straps digging into my armpits (I think I have large lats for a woman? It makes stuff fit weird) and non Amazon online returns are like, 11/10 social anxiety for me :confounded: after being reduced to a non responsive laconic mess in my closet by third love bras, SirB wisely advised I should perhaps never try online bra shopping anymore :smiling_face_with_tear:

Not trying to be difficult on purpose! Just, clothes are really really hard for me. Sensory and fit. There’s a reason I’ve bought dozens of bras and tried on probably over 100 the last couple years and I’m still wearing exclusively my two shot to hell nursing tanks :weary:

Yeah, online shopping has so much trial and error. For my big wardrobe/size update I decided to BN anything that would be a hassle to return, but that won’t work for everyone.

If those nursing tanks are perfect for you maybe just buy more of the exact same ones!

They’re not totally working though. For one, my body got larger and has stayed larger since my miscarriage, making the bottoms ride up all the time. I tried the next size up in store and they don’t fit right across the bust/back/strap spacing. Plus, it’s super hot and restricts what shirts I can wear since I’m wearing multiple layers on my core all the time. They’re the best option sensory wise but they’re faaaaar from the perfect option.

What’s a delicate cycle? I’m a dirty heathen that throws everything in together; jeans, towels, bralettes, t shirts…etc. and then they get pelted by a half dozen felted wool balls during the dry cycle. I think it’s because the front and back of the cup are sewn fairly tightly so there’s not much room for movement of the cup unless you are really working on it.

Plus if they don’t have your size in store, ordering online doesn’t scare me off as much because you can return in store and lord knows I go to target enough that I’m not likely gonna have to remember to schedule ANOTHER errand location out of my way.

Good luck, bra shopping is the pits

Haha this is precisely my laundry method now. I might, MIGHT put something small or delicate of my daughters in a mesh bag. End of effort

…returns at target still scare me cuz someone was mean to me a decade ago while I was doing one.

Does anyone have recommendations for a grow light they like? The one I have clearly isn’t cutting it and my seedlings are very sad. I live in the upper Midwest so I need to start plants early or buy starts for a lot of things if I want to grow stuff.

I have recent experience that will only be relevant for you if you are okay with using your own light fixture.

First I ordered a LED grow bulb from GE and it emitted a high pitch noise that was not pleasant at all. I replaced it with this SANSI one and have been much happier.

Thank you! These exact ones didn’t work, BUT a jockey one I grabbed from right next to your suggestion did. Or at least seemed to in store which is a start, since the other ones I tried had too short of straps for one and laid directly on top of my should blade points for the other.

Washing the one I have and ordering a second one online since they only had one in my size :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:
Super soft too so I’m really hopeful it end up being great.

I’m looking for sandals but I have a lot of requirements, thought I’d post here just in case anyone has a recommendation. If not that’s totally understandable too, because here’s my list:

  1. My foot is narrow in the heel and wide across the toe box.
  2. I have high arches.
  3. I need lots of cushioning but not lots of weight. I cannot wear hard soled sandals like Chacos.
  4. Stability is key. I need a lot of structure side to side and front to back, so no flip flops.
  5. I want these to walk on paved surfaces but also trails.

On the plus side I will pay literally any amount for these, so don’t hold back due to price. I’m used to paying a lot for ortho type shoes. Thanks all!

These are WAY more expensive than I remember paying several years ago but they have a lot of cushion and keen always has a nice wide toe box and good arches for my high arched feet (I don’t have a narrow heel). My one complaint is that little leaves and pebble sometimes get in and then get stuck.

These look very promising, thank you! The price is ok for me. I’m so used to it for comfortable shoes. I’ll probably order a bunch of sandals online and just return what doesn’t work. :woman_shrugging: I can’t figure out any other way to find shoes that work, lol.

So keep the recs coming if anyone else has them!
