Anyone have a rec for a cat collar that won’t fall off? This is a low bar, but JerkCat’s collar just fell off for the millionth time. Given his propensity for jumping fences, I want something secure.

My neighbors use a harness and a collar for this reason - which isn’t an answer to your actual question

I know I’ve had safety collars that don’t easily fall off but I don’t remember which brands were better

IIRC you take him for walks and don’t let him out unsupervised, right? What’s happening with the collars, is he backing out of them?

Most cat collars have a breakaway feature because cats are notorious for getting into things they shouldn’t. But I’m guessing that’s not what’s happening during a supervised outing so I’m curious how he is getting out of them.

My cat would pop the ones that always fell off while scratching his neck, at least once a week. Most of the time I’d just find his collar sitting around the house with no idea how it came off.

I guess my cats never figured out that trick. Every once and a while I’d find one in the yard, and I figured there was more to the story and it was a good thing the collard had broken away. But mine usually only wore them outside and I took them off once they were in for the night.

I love love love the collar we got for Emma, but because we got the breakaway clasp and she’s a smart little devil she keeps getting out of it. It’s such a nice collar though. You can get it in a lot of other colors.

I had a cat with a pink collar and bell. He’d remove it and hide it. And two or three times a week he’d bring it to us to put on…strut around and remove :joy::disappointed_relieved:. Current cat is collarless (okay, I bought a replacement but need tags) because of the breakaway

Can anyone recommend jeans for a very hourglass-shaped person who doesn’t want to look very curvy? Ideally mid to high waisted?

In HS this was my exact desire and shape- it was hard because blockier looking waist bands slipped down on me or gaped. I found a thick belt really helped to walk the line between a blockier cut and staying up/not flashing when I squatted down and did stuff. (ETA then you can have it sit a little lower to not emphasize the narrowest part of your waist and still have it fit)

Anyone an eBay wizard? Can someone find me these exact pants? :grimacing: but you know, not with holes in the inner thigh? :crossed_fingers:

Hi frens. I’m trying to be more natural-y/less super toxic with some of my products. I love classic fruity and floral scents but am not so into the crunchy patchouli/eucalyptus vibe.

Any body wash recommendations? I have dry skin if that matters.

I’m waiting at the mechanic so had time to kill :joy:

Not exactly the same but might be the same model!

Have you been to Lush? They have both crunchy granola scents and super fruity/floral scents. They don’t really seem to do neutral though. Plant based products, minimal packaging and their supply chain theoretically buys from women owned cooperatives (my sister lived next to a Lush aloe farm in Kenya and said at least that seemed legit).

I just use shampoo as body wash though so no particular recommendations.

Not sure about ingredients but I love Soap and Glory Products (they’re at Target).

@mirepoix Thanks!

I really like everyone for everybody soaps. They are a certified b corp and not horribly expensive.

I was wondering if the ingredient list posted was an everyone wash. I use their unscented as shampoo. I do a bar soap for my body, using a few localiah companies, and Dr. Bronners liquids as pump hand soaps.

Any recommendations for a tripod? One that holds a phone but that would also hold a digital camera if I need one later.
