I’ve seen them at most grocery stores.

Recommendations for earbuds that have the rubbery type of tip? This is specifically so I can use XS tips and they actually fit into my ears. I don’t care about noise canceling and sound quality is not super important to me. I just want to be able to listen to podcast while I do stuff, ideally without being tethered to my phone so wireless is preferred.

Not ear buds but I have a pair of shocks. Ear buds always make my ears hurt and these are great because they don’t go in the ear. They don’t have super amazing sound quality but I just want them for podcasts and not being tethered to my phone.b

We have some Skullcandy ones that were cheap and are perfectly acceptable. Interchangeable soft tips.

I like the JLab Go Air Sport earbuds, I think they come with a baggie of different rubbery type tips so you can choose your preferred size. I also like that they kinda wrap around my ear to be more stable.

I like my soundcore A40s but they may be more than you need as they do have noise cancelling or sound pass through ability.

I like my Jabra. They come with 3 different sized rubber bits you can swap out (although the default fit me well enough I’ve never bothered changing it out)

I’ve had jlab and soundcore. Jlab were good and very cheap, purchased to see if I like earbuds. Soundcore are a million times better for not much more money. Both come with lots of tips and fit my small ear canals.

I love my shockz too!! Way more comfortable than earbuds. Slightly less than ideal if laying down or on planes, but earbuds aren’t the best there either.

If you’re not committed to in-ear, I recommend bone conducting headsets - I have a Vidonn pair that I love.

In-ear, I mostly used Skullcandy before I switched over to Vidonn.

Do the over-ear/bone conducting type work with glasses? I’m looking at ads and not seeing any pictures of people wearing them with glasses.

I put my sunglasses ears above the headphones, because my sunglasses ears are pretty thick. I don’t have regular glasses so not sure how a narrower ear would feel under the headphones.

I have glasses and they work! Most of the over the ear ones don’t work for me with glasses though.

I have glasses and they work as long as I’m not lying down. I love having more situational awareness and not needing to turn the volume way up.

Thanks for all the recommendations and advice! I went with soundcore—pleasantly surprised by the low price (I chose a pair of on-sale earbuds and it barely came to $50 with tax).

May I make a very selfish personal shopper request on my birthday?

My fitbit died this morning. I use it to track steps, workouts and very light biometrics.

Can someone find me a refurbished model that’s Good Enough so I don’t go ham and buy some bullshit expensive version new?

@flan @meowmalade you are better at this than I am

This is not a direct answer but I recently bought refurbished AirPods from Best Buy, and they seem like a good source for that sort of thing.
