I think Day 5 and 6 could totally go together. Day 5 is a lot of deep stretches but I didn’t find it strenuous. Day 6 is abs and after the first few minutes I was actually sweating. Totally a different kind of workout.
I started to do five and six together (I just skipped the cool down at the end of five), I only stopped because I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to be feeling my shoulders instead of my abs. Also I was hungry for lunch.
Day 6…
Not going to lie, just sat there for a good deal of the side plank stuff for the first side. But was able to do a bit more on the second side. There was something else that I struggled with but I don’t remember what it was.
Despite the struggles, I’m still grateful I pushed through.
I’m impressed with what everyone else is doing too, even those who have missed days. It can be really hard to take this time when you have other obligations. Great job.
I should do the yoga while my soup simmers for an hour. But. I am sitting down.
Inspire me?
Nah. Probably too hard. Quit?
I see your reverse psychology DAD
and I think it worked
Joining in! I missed the start of this thread, but just wrapped up day 5. It is extremely chilly in my living room right now, so I did half the practice while draping blankets over myself in various ways! But I did it!
A sort of cool(??) thing I’ve noticed is that this time, i feels like these practices are way easier for me, despite currently feeling peak out of shape. The only difference I can think of is that I’ve been doing 30-40 min leasurely walks 3-5 days a week for the past 9+ months or so with a friend. And if that’s what is doing it, it turns out that every little bit helps, which is really helping me keep motivated in general since even if I only do a little bit, if I do it all the time, it helps.
Ow
Holy shit Adriene
continuing to trail the rest of you, Day 4 (Flow) was my favourite type of yoga practice, with lots of Warriors.
It was my favorite so far too!
Mine, too.
My day was absurd so tomorrow I will do a thing
I am acknowledging today as a day, so I will do my third yoga of the year today!
Day 6:
Me at 11-12 min: oh this isn’t so bad (as shown)
Me at 15-16 min:
Also it should be punishable by law for fitness teachers to be like “last one…now one more!” That’s BS and I won’t stand for it.
I’m a day behind at day 5. I didn’t want to, but I was feeling sad and annoyed with my friend group and also somehow lonely and abandoned, and needed a distraction or I was gonna dig into the chips until the bag was empty, and then I was gonna feel sick and probably break out a bunch.
So I did yoga instead, and I’m always shocked that I feel better afterwards.
Not gonna do 2 in a row like I was kidding myself about yesterday, but feeling all right.
Day seven all! You’ll be happy to know I did day 5 just now and have decided to completely skip day 6 because it sounds hard and I’m an adult who can make choices like that.
I love twists!
I think this was my favorite day so far. I still took a little break 5 mins from the end because I was tired!
I finished Day 7 earlier in the day than typical since I have plans this afternoon. I am amazed to have completed a full week.
Guys do I do both videos in one day
Let’s find out
Day 7 done! Quite happy with staying on track so far
Really liked the twisty theme of today. Felt very good. Also generally I really like the flow of the program where every day has a different focus. Looking forward to week 2!
