Day 10 is done! I was disoriented earlier today because my older son has tested positive for covid so I am isolating (I’m the high risk one and my husband was STRONGLY opposed to isolating a child) and getting that all figured out took a lot of brain space. So I did it at 8 pm. It was like 2 hours after dinner but still, do not recommend, especially if you are pregnant and have heartburn and dinner was spaghetti.
I am NOT great at anything involving my hands interlaced behind my back. Felt like they just wouldn’t go ANYWHERE.
Me too! I also forgot to share that yesterday my heels touched during downward dog, for the first time in my life. Yoga every day for 2 weeks is making progress!
Day 16 done. Today I did a 20 minute cycling workout from iFit first, then I did the yoga as a cool down. I think if I can find the time I would like to do cycling, followed by lifting, followed by yoga on my workout days, and then just yoga on the rest days.
So, I fell behind by 2 days (Thurs/Fri), then did 2x on Saturday (along with a much needed very satisfying nap!) then did not make time properly yesterday, and did 2x today. Want to be done with weird schedules and back to 1x daily! We will see if I can pull off day 16 this evening, otherwise I will likely stay 1 day behind all week based on work schedule.
Day 11 is done! I’m grateful for other people who are still in it with me even though we’re almost a week behind. I liked day 11 a lot. Peaceful but not too peaceful.
I left the children icing a three-layer cake upstairs and just heard a scream, so I guess I should go see what’s happening.
I’m with you on just having finished Day 11. Agreed, peaceful but still felt like I did something. And I think today’s plank was the best I’ve done in a while.
Day 17 is done. Circumstances seemed to be against me today but I am so happy that I got it done. I wasn’t feeling well but I figured that a day titled “snuggle” would be easy enough that I could power through and I was correct. Halfway through my boss started sending me IMs and I had to pause to answer them. Then I had to go upstairs and deal with a potty training emergency. Then it was time for meeting. Then it was time for lunch. Finally, after lunch, I was able to do the last 8 minutes and finish it out.
Day 16 finished here. I did it as a semi-cooldown after my boxing class, which was good as I was still somewhat warm. Noticing how my feet get to touch the ground more frequently in down dog is nice.
Dancer pose is hard though, my hip flexors are tiiight.
