I did day 14 today! I forgot to post when it was done because I got done just in time to go help Bella with the potty. Today felt really short again to me.
I laughed at the rest day where Benji was walking all over, but if you were being good and keeping your eyes shut, you wouldn’t know
Day seven! Head neck and shoulders not prenatal specific, but I have done it enough times to know it’s a good one.
Day 9 completed. I love warriors and standing forward folds. My wrists don’t love heavy knitting days combined with downward dogs.
I want everyone to know I don’t want to do this but I’m doing it anyway. Praise me.
Praise! You are doing amazing things! I didn’t want to either but I just finished. That’s two full weeks done!
Maybe because of a 22 minute practice the first 4 were sitting and the last 4 were lying down?
Much praise!
Yesterday body said no to an extra catch up practice, but did both day 13 and day 14 first thing today morning. It helped that they were short.
The standing splits at the end of day 13 were really challenging!
Day 15 is done. I really appreciated at the beginning when she said something about feeling lethargic and having a hard day and not wanting to be there. When we did the arm swinging at the beginning my apple watch pinged me and asked if I had stopped my yoga workout - apparently that was too much fast motion for it!
I did literally nothing last 3 days. Needed to use my will power to get extra sleep since my child is an insomniac.
Yesterday I wanted nothing more than to be a lump on the sofa and so I indulged. I figured today’s workout would be primarily meditation and doubling up would be fine. So today I did day 14 and day 15. I was not expecting day 15 to include so many planks! But, tis complete and I’m glad I did it this way.
Sleep > yoga.
I’m still back on day 13 I think. Flight. I could have done it today. I did not. Tomorrow!
At some point an accountability thread just becomes a bitter reminder of your total failure.
You may not have done the yoga workouts, but you are not a failure. Perhaps it isn’t the right time for you to do a yoga challenge.
You’re lovely.
day 12 done! and before bedtime even! I skipped yesterday due to headaches. If anyone has any recs for managing headaches triggered by back/neck muscle soreness, I’m all ears!
day 10 complete
I’m finding some spots where I’d like to fix alignment to straighten hips, increase activation of muscles instead of dropping into the pose which I guess I was doing in the past.
But your involvement in keeping the thread going has helped create this lovely sense of community.
Oh I’m following and cheering you all along. Go you stretchy bendy good things.
I was going to tell you that you are singularly responsible for my successful (so far) challenge (via dad-skillz reverse psychology) but then I thought it might go to your head.
