Huzzah!
A+ for me
I think I’m gonna catch up today. “Today” in air quotes with the vague idea that it’s still today if I’ve been continuously awake.
Day 9 in the books! Kitten was convinced my moving feet were a toy for her, so practice was enhanced by kitten play.
Remember, even if you only do 5 minutes of child’s pose followed by 10 minutes of corpse pose, that still counts.
Day 10 is done. I did it right after breakfast at 7am since I have a very busy day and I knew it wouldn’t get done otherwise. I gave up my forum scrolling time for yoga today!
Caught up by doing day 9 and 10 together. In case anyone wonders whether it’s doable: both were active, but gentle practices so to me it was fine to combine them!
Another little milestone: both my feet managed to touch the floor in downward dog in lesson 10! I guess being warmed up from the first lesson helped with the last few mm’s that I was still up.
Me in early day 10: This seems a little bullshit, this is easy and I don’t feel like it’s doing anything?
Me later on in day 10: This is a little bullshit, I’m already shaking and there’s no way I’m grabbing my foot like she is or I’ll fall over.
There is no pleasing me.
Day 10 done!
Day 10 complete!
Did day 10! Time for sleep
Finished day 10!
Day 7 done. It appears all my PT exercises have helped on my squats form.
I may try for 8 and 9 as a two-for tomorrow
Duuudes. That was the yoga I needed today.
I did D9 right before bed yeaterday because I didn’t want to be 2 days in debt or I might quit. And it wasn’t a hard practice but tough going.
But today… That was good.
Day five. “Pregnancy yoga in bed”
Guess who caught up by finally doing D7? This lady!
I’ll take all the s thank you.
GO YOU!
I’m considering procrastinating day 10 until tomorrow. Don wanna dooo eeeet
Doooo eeeeetttt. You won’t want to double up, either. So do it now. support
Day 11 is done! I’m really starting to enjoy doing these at 7 am. I get up, do early morning things with the children, then eat breakfast in my office and do the yoga video before I go back upstairs and get dressed/ready for the day.
I’m also really finding the “checking in” helpful from an accountability standpoint. I tried doing this the past few years and never made it past day 2 or 3. I would also like to continue having accountability after this month and yesterday in the shower I got an idea. Would anyone like to have a February challenge for kettlebell swings? You wouldn’t need to have an actual kettlebell - a bag with a heavy can (or a few canned goods) works just the same. I could put together a little video that shows how to do the kettlebell swings and regular household items that can be used to complete the swings. Is there any interest in that?
