Worth it... Objects of Acquisition

Ember has a ceramic coating and the heater is in the mug which gives it a ceramic heft! It’s really a beautiful example of design. Very thought out (at least physically… Husband has slightly complained that he can’t steal it effectively when I’m not using it… But maybe that’s a feature not a bug! )

I was just in a bit of a smartass mood because I am up way too early.

Lavalin deodorant. I’ve bought it sporadically before. But I think at this stage it is SO MUCH better than any other deodorant that I need to just spend $17 every time. Also, in the time I’ve sporadically bought it, it has stayed price stable and other natural deodorants nhave gone from 4-13$ and unnatural from $2-$8. So now it’s less extreme?

I am a very stinky person and this helps hugely.

These fridge magnets are great. And pretty! They make me happy ever time I look at my fridge. But also on Amazon.

I’ve been out of the forum conversation for a little while until about a week ago.
HOWEVER, during my time away I acquired one of those awful/wonderful micro-current face thingies.
I’ve been using with a very lazy routine for about 3-4 months and even with my unreliable consistency, it’s been successfully in tightening some of my saggy face parts.
Better results than I expected.
Do recommend :heavy_check_mark:

I might be the only person still using this thread, but here I am
I have acquired a lifetime manual can opener w/ a blade I can re-sharpen.
After recently breaking two crank can openers back to back (:muscle:), while in the shower one day, I considered how many crank style can openers I have broken – I could only remember 10, but that’s still a lot!!
happy to be in the manual can opener club.
Is there a club? :sunglasses:

  • I will be complaining about how this is hard to use, but ya know… adaptation takes time.

… Why are you using can openers in the shower?

Are those Mukluks? Husband randomly brought me two pair of those a couple weeks ago. I have no idea what he paid for them, but it was worth it.

They areeee. I got a recommendation from someone on my pregnancy discord group and then impulse bought them while panic buying gifts at Walmart.

I wuv them.

They were only like $11 for two pairs which is a lot for socks but not bad contextualizing them as more like slippers.

Darn Tough start going down in cost when you start getting replacements, at least? (I mean, I guess, I’ve only had to do it once)
