yesterday I got flu & covid, J2 got flu & covid, and J1 had a meltdown the likes of which we haven’t seen in years, but did end up getting the covid shot.
So my question is - do they have to wait two weeks to get the flu shot since they weren’t done at the same time? Dad needs to go for flu & covid still, so I was going to book J1 with Dad for the second jab.
Finally got Covid Vax! (Didn’t want to risk fevers or combine side effects with IVF) Spouse got Covid and flu. Vax.
We also got Jamba Juice as a hydrating treat. Even if I still get my usual headache, I’ll feel a bit better knowing I’m not deprived of any key substances (I did ginger and greens).
We all now have the new covid booster. The Boy took Cuckoo in the AM (babies had to have an appointment) and I took the boys in the afternoon and then we got DQ because my children won’t get shots without it now. LB and I recommend the Oreo hot chocolate blizzard.
You all are so brave, getting your flu and Covid shots on the same day! My son did that, but my daughter and I chickened out. So the whole family has their flu shots now, but only the 13-year-old has the latest Covid booster. We need to make an appointment for the rest of us!
I got my flu shot yesterday. I keep forgetting she thinking my arm is sore because of the gym but I haven’t gone to the gym this week. Covid shot will wait till I’m further out from when I had actual covid.
Husband and I both got Covid boosters today and husband got flu! So now we just need Covid for the Kid, but we… can’t anywhere. Possibly need to go back to her old ped??
After fun with insurance changes, flu shot, covid booster, tdap booster have all been acquired. Based on past side effects, there’s the distinct possibility that I won’t be able to move my arms well for a day or two, but at least it’s done.
I think I’m three weeks post COVID booster now? Was going to get flu shot tomorrow at a clinic at work, but it’s been cancelled due to we’re getting a hurricane hundreds of miles inland. Looks like they’re rescheduling it for week after next, so I’ll probably do it then.
Flu shotted, covid shotted…last year I had TDAP at the same time but obviously didn’t need a re-do this year. Hoping for not too much in the way of side effects because I’ve got cleaning that needs to happen and a show tonight with some friends.
