My power didn’t go out overnight. The longer the power stays on the more likely it is to stay on for good.
My guests slept (badly) and are gone now. Most of them have power at their homes now, and probably the rest will by the end of the day.

Clearly, I live in a nerd household. This morning, I suggested there was a wave function to Mr. Obnoxious’s escapes from his catio. Husband immediately countered with a clear and compelling argument that it is instead a state of punctuated equilibrium.

My husband is awesome and made more freezer prep happen. It’s not even 10am and we added 9 breakfast burritos to the freezer stash and the kitchen is totally clean again.

So last month or so I said I was pretty much done with drinking. And you know what, just thinking back, I’ve managed to stick to it! I just realized that I didn’t drink at all last weekend during my nerd festival full of strangers, even at the party with the open bar. And at the social event last Monday, I ordered a root beer. So I’m pretty pleased about that.

Bragging on H for a second, he got us a new wireless router on eBay for half price, then he got it all set up and got us $12/mo discount on our internet service. The biggest tiny Victor is that I didn’t have to do any part of this process except approve the name of the wireless network.
