It’s raining! Boy do we need it!
A bit of organization and cleaning in my room. Emptied 3 boxes from the move (filled one back up with donations for the charity shop)
I just ate a couple from the bush above the street!!
We picked at least a couple cups today. Chickadee feasted and came home absolutely covered in purple detritus.
Sitting on my porch with my cat enjoying a rainstorm. It smells really nice too
I remembered to use the paper lunch bags I had at the CSA, no new plastic bags to deal with. Score!
And another: we’ve all but used up the garlic salt we put on the table. I was all set to make more and found a jar in the pantry. So, one less food stuff to make. Hurrah!
Mended 3/4 shorts that I bought back in April.
Used up the end of a spool of thread, too. Very satisfying ![]()
Went for a walk after dinner, which is not our usual routine. A few minutes in, I noticed that a local lighting store was having a sample sale, they are moving to a bigger location closer to other furniture places. End of day, so prices of 50-70% off were shifted to 70-80% off, and then we got a bit more of a discount because we didn’t have quite that much cash in our wallets.
A $500 made in Canada light fixture for under $100. And hopefully the contractors will put it up for us when they are doing the various bits and bobs to finish up.
I love a deal! Yay!
Unemployment finally stopped reviewing my case and decided to pay me!
YAS get it!!!
YAYAYYAYAYAYA
That’s so great!!!
FINALLY!
It’s about time!
Yay!!! I’m so happy for you!!
I have successfully spoken with a Real Person at Moen and have received a shipping label to return the faucet that didnt work.
That was a lot of aggravation!
Now I have to find the package tape and figure out how to get to the Fed Ex office.
Omg I missed this. Hurray!!
I replaced my bathroom tub drain for under $10 and it’s the greatest thing ever. The old one was so frustrating and now I just push a button and the water drains.
