Yesterday morning our bench looked like this which is not a great look for the B&B.
It was beyond the point where teak oil was going to help so I did a quick search for woodstain and today it looks like this.
I’ve also done four chairs and two tables for the B&B room decks and I’m absolutely knackered but delighted with the results, all for the cost of a small tin of stain

Might have been a cheap tin - But lots of effort (sanding, prep, staining, removing extra, etc.). The bench looks fantastic.

I order peaches from the peach truck and got an email that they had to change the pickup location for an upcoming order of mine. It got changed from one that was slightly inconvenient to one that’s super convenient and just down the road from my house!

My retirement fund just crossed 400K. 
I never ever expected to see a number like that. I didn’t grow up with much, and have never made a high salary. 26ish years ago I was only putting in like $1000 a year, I only started maxing it out in the last few years. Wild.

I just looked… when I was 37 (I am 56 now) I had 13K in there! I think I started when I was around 30, and only because work started up an IRA. I would not have done it on my own and would have very little now if not for that.
