I found the plug that was unplugged and had our Christmas tree half-lit for two days. Now it’s back to full splendor.

After calling my Drs office 4 times over the past 2 weeks, they refilled one weeks worth of a medication that I have taken every day for 6 years, is not a controlled substance, and have never had an issue with. I’ve been out of the med for over a week, and called a week in advance of that to ask for a partial refill since I have an appointment this week but would run out before then…and 4 different people told me it should be “no problem, we’ll just get that filled” and it never happened.
Finally this morning I got through to my Drs MA and she was like oh, sure I’ll send that 
TC: having to do any of that in the first place. Having so much anxiety around calling and getting told sure but it actually never happening over and over again basically ruined my weekend.

why does it have to be so hard? oh right because there are one thousand chefs in the kitchen and almost none of them have any actual power.
at any rate, i’m glad you got your med. mine is also on the way after a similar struggle over the holidays.

Why do they make you call? The pharmacy handles that for me. I’d be really annoyed if I had to handle renewals. And can’t you do it through MyChart?

You technically can if it’s not a control, but it’s kind of frowned upon. Hopefully I’ll have enough doctor colleagues in the future that maybe getting my meds will eventually be simpler

I tolerate soy milk now (
) and I realized I can switch out the “better half” cream replacement I use in my coffee each morning. Cheaper, no stabilizers, and removes one item slot permanently from my fridge door!
