Dribbled coffee on my keyboard pullout. Used the incident as a goad to clean the keyboard, the pad AND the pullout. Score!

I thought I had a crack on the screen of my ereader.

Then I wiped it down, and discovered I had an easily erasable pencil mark

When you procrastinate for so long before going for a walk that you need to check the sunset time and find that you’ve made it to the earliest sunset of the year (15:43). Then you have the bright idea that you could make it a beach walk and celebrate that sunset.

Ooooo - sounds interesting. Would you share the brand? I’m always struggling with streaks on my stainless, especially the range hood.

Chocolate lactaid milk exists in my house and so does a microwave so I have easy access to hot chocolate.

After @economista mentioned it, I finally got around to clicking cancel on my NYTimes subscription. Sure enough they offered a reduced rate without having to talk to anyone with one click to accept!

I’m on the live chat with my Internet provider now…wish me luck!

I feel like this is a big victory but I want to share!

We have exchanged holiday gifts early this year and all of the grandparents gave my kids mostly buy nothing or second hand purchased gifts!!! They were all super cool and thoughtful too.

I’m so glad they took me seriously when I tell them I don’t need a bunch of new stuff. Most of my gifts for the kids are also from BN :grin:

Made homemade Chinese pork dumplings, including the wrappers. They were OK, not great. I didn’t make dipping sauce. The dough wasn’t quite right and I didn’t consistently roll it out thinly enough. My crimping skills were completely absent! But I got them all closed, so I call it a success.

Got to see a favorite singer with my sister last night! Chris Isaak! I’ve seen him quite a lot but not since Covid happened, so it was a ton of fun. We had fantastic seats too.

Blended the most recent soup even more and now it is satisfying instead of annoying to chew

Success with an assignment from the therapist, when i bitched about going from 1 day in-office to 2 days: find the positives. Positives are seeing the parking lot turkeys and cats. Also helped a coworker with signing up for the 401k.

I did not think there would be any positives. Victory!
