Tiny Vickie:
Someone delivering something stopped to compliment me (I was in the driveway) on my Temu holiday tree! ![]()
I’ve never put a holiday tree up and have been working so hard to make it look nice and not like it was $20.
It felt so good to receive that unprompted compliment!
Ps: You can see the tree in the front window, they weren’t being creepy.
Our first real snowfall!
It dusted on Sunday evening, but otherwise it hasn’t truly precipitated in any measurable way in like a month and a half. Now we’ve got 3 or 4 in, and it’s supposed to snow lightly all day ![]()
It’s so lovely!
Lovely!
I should take some pictures of my tree.
We hosted an excellent dinner and games night last night. Everyone had a great time.
I was reminded that I have access to Kanopy through my library, and they have SO MANY of my favorite movies that are inconsistently available online.
Here’s the appetizer tray.
And supper - Apple Slaw, Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetable platter, lingonberry sauce and gravy.
Looks delicious!
Yummy! I might be drooling a little ![]()
We have discovered that Chickadee loves roasted seaweed snacks.
A baby of good taste.
A favorite of both my kids. They sell flat packs on Amazon I send to school. GREEN. Totally counts as eating their greens.
So many vitamins! I’m jealous!
Flat packs is a very good idea. Especially if I can find some that are lower on salt/oil (the snacks I have are not exactly low salt/oil).
Flat packs are awesome but Costco also sells giant packs that are good for sharing on playdates (if you have the kind of playdate friends who share snacks)
I love that you pretend that I wouldn’t be getting the big pack because I’d be eating the seaweed snacks with her
That still counts as sharing on play dates. With YOU.
