Woah that’s a big dip. I am very glad you’re eating successfully again!

Possibly, but the problem is acute management of Gastro is tricky. Trying to be in the ED with Gastro is by all accounts quite unpleasant if you don’t get transferred to a private room with a solo bathroom  which they won’t do unless you need admitted. That being said, if it had kept on for another part of a day, yeah I was headed to the hospital. I’m not pregnant or newly PP and I’m actually quite healthy these days, so luckily I could do home care much longer than someone very old, very young, or with underlying health concerns. I’m also lucky my mom is a nurse as well, so she was checking for skin turgor and making sure I wasn’t reaching too severe a point.

I also had traveled with LMNT since we were in the effin desert in summer (WHYYYYY do they live there. Ahem) and so I had handy dandy rehydration salts at the ready. That worked out well for me.

Today’s goals: eat all my normal things! Wash my hair for the first time in a week! Solo parent a few hours!:crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Already succeeded: drink a full cup of coffee with no ill effects!:tada:

I have been trying to update our beneficiary designations since December of 2021. (It was literally the day I got a positive pregnancy test with the cuckoo so we told the estate attorney that we might have another child, who she kept referring to as “child C.”)

I did some and lost steam but finally got back into it today.

Status:
-2 fully updated
-1 message sent asking for clarification
-1 partially updated, it’s an old 401(k) that the Boy is supposed to roll over so it doesn’t seem worth doing a lot of digging about how to add an estate as a beneficiary.

In the unlikely event of our joint untimely demise, I don’t want to create unnecessary headaches for my poor mother.

I went to urgent care for a thing that normally I wouldn’t get treated but treatment will help speed healing. They got me in right away and the doctor even told me “I’m proud of you for self care, I’m glad you came in so we can fix this before it gets worse, I know how hard it is to prioritize your health with a baby so good work”.

I give myself a gold star!! :star2:

My internet has been down since Thursday, I guess there was a server issue with Quantum/CenturyLink? Apparently they are just doing nothing about it, no one at centurylink customer service would help and said “we have no idea when you’ll have internet again” :unamused:…but following instructions on reddit (thank you reddit tech people) I reconfigured my router myself and now I have internet again!

The people at my piano event were talking about this last Thursday! Apparently it’s nation-wide Internet issues? A few people were immediately like “what did Elon Musk do??”.

Do you have a link to that Reddit post handy? Our quantum internet didn’t go out but has been dropping out a ton, so maybe that will help it too. Thanks!!!

Yes! There are two different methods, the one that worked for me was plugging my computer into the modem directly and following these instructions:

But, my modem was stuck in the “yellow” mode, so I think that’s why that worked. Most people found that the method in the comments on this thread worked:

Thank you!!!

Stepped out to check the mail and discovered I’d gotten a delivery of a box of eggs (like the 100-count size, not a normal carton), about eight boxes of unsalted butter, a bunch of apples, and lots of pounds of frozen berries.

(Obviously someone messed up the grocery delivery for one of my neighbors, and I’ll drop it off when I figure out who, but still, it was kind of a nice surprise  )

…8 pounds or like a butter heist volume?

Ideally the store correctly redelivered and you get to keep the bounty!

 Closer to this, actually (given the other food quantities it was costco or sams-type boxes so not one pound, maybe 4ish?). Anyway, the neighbor must have gotten a text or something that it had been delivered and came looking on short order, not really a surprise since there was food included that could spoil, so it’s been returned to the rightful owner.
