Ugh I don’t really want to go to Whole Foods but that sounds amazing
I knowwww hahaha I think the fact that it’s a WF item will keep me from drinking it all the time
Does seem like a Trader Joe’s item also but I don’t shop there much either
I will say I did see a dry mix at Costco once. I know a lot of restaurants use that anyway so I might opt for that next ha
I don’t think I’ve seen horchata at Trader Joe’s, but they do have a horchata ice cream in the summer that is 11/10
I found a concentrate last spring.
It was fun to add it to iced coffee instead of a dairy option
I was drinking my cooled coffee (like a peasant) when I remembered I have a mug warmer. HA HA! I AM QUEEN OF HOT CAFFEINATED BEVERAGES ONCE MORE!
Saw Sinners in theatre, probably my last pre-baby movie. It was fucking sick. I’m not big on horror but I could close my eyes for the most vampire killing parts and still enjoy the film which is doing A LOT of fun things
I am so not a horror person and had to close my eyes through a lot but I think it’s telling that it was still an absolutely excellent film apart from that! THe music is so good.
The music is sOOO GOOD!!!
Met my out of pocket max! All my health care is free for the rest of the year!!
Get all the things checked.
Because I’m on Humira, I hit the max at this time every year. I was waiting to go have a cyst on my scalp removed! I seem prone to them and new ones show up every few years
Broken washing machine is a clogged filter!
I also had a broken washing machine today, but it’s now fixed. One trip to the used appliance store, one new timer purchased for $40, done.
Two machines fixed cheap!
A third machine fix for cheap! And a disaster avoided victory.
Just after bed last night (teeth brushed. Kindle not yet unlocked) a water alarm went off downstairs. I came down and it was coming from behind the fridge. Luckily husband was working out on the bike in the garage and not at the gym, so we pulled the fridge out together. And lo! A geyser of water. The water line to the fridge had sprang a leak and was spraying about with quite a bit of force. Had it not been for this alarm, I would have woken up today at 4:30am (thank you, crying baby) to a massive puddle and destroyed wooden floors. Instead, we got it all mopped up (I cleaned behind the fridge for good measure) and husband put in an order for a new line to pick up first thing at Home Depot this morning.
That could have been so, so much worse.
every construction professional we have dealt with on the kitchen has questioned why I don’t a. want a fridge with a water supply and b. don’t want a water supply built in for the next people who own the house.
thank you for the confirmation of my own biases, esp since I did decide to go with wood floors.
TC: I broke a needle while sewing.
TV: I had been suspicious of this chonky seam so I was going slowly with the handwheel, so I did NOT have to deal with flying danger metal. Phew.
I’m up and packed for my workshop with time to spare!
Apparently now you can get pex lines which are far more durable, so we’re doing that. The ice was worth the line for us, but we don’t do in door ice or water because 1- kids chaos and 2- more failure points.
