I have been following a paternity case where a woman (Laura Owens) accused Clayton Echard (former bachelor) of getting her pregnant. She fabricated the whole thing, tried to extort him for money, said she would get an abortion if he agreed to date her, has done this to other men, fabricated ultrasounds and pregnancy tests, and so much more. I’ve been following this case since 2023 and there has been tons of drama and she was finally charged with seven felonies for faking the pregnancy and lying in court.

If this leads anyone down the rabbit hole I’ve been in for the last two years I’m happy to share some videos that summarize the situation and all of the wild twists and turns. I don’t even watch the bachelor, this legal drama has just pulled me in

This lady is absolutely bananas. I listen to Reality Steve so I’ve heard all the updates (if not every twist and turn). So glad she was finally indicted.

Me too! I’m also glad to know there is someone else on here who was along for the (moon)bumpy ride!

I was so fucking happy to see that. But I’m not surprised by the Republican party’s shenanigans. Pat Mccrory did the same shit when he lost the governor race. Bunch of spoiled whiny little bitches the lot of them.

When my grandfather (her ex-husband) was complaining about something that was honestly not that big a deal, Nanny leaned in close to me and whispered ‘The more a man whines, the smaller his dick is. Trust me, I should know’. I almost choked on my Pepsi.

After delivering some rhubarb to folks that like it - I spent some time cutting out volunteer trees from our other intended plants. So many volunteer trees - some are coming up from leftover roots, some are new sprouts. The root-based one are to toughest to eradicate.

Finished a big work project that involved a lot of travel! Got good feedback about the project, and used the solo travel time as well as a person could have. Finished a book on all 6 flights (4 of the 6 were cover to cover reads), caught up with four old friends and one forum friend, and spent some time outside in good weather. I could not be any luckier!

Now time to make it up to my wife who has been solo parenting during a new job for her, dog on new behavior meds, a new nanny, and the start of a basement renovation.

There’s a park that’s a short drive away that I used to take my oldest daughter to a lot, and sometimes we’ll take both girls too now. Well, the last two times I’ve attempted visits there, things have gone horribly very quickly. Think, oldest falling and totally wiping out in mud immediately upon arrival and then refusing to wear any of her back up clothing, and having a screaming fit the entire way home, level of bad.

Anyway, after two of these awful trips, it started to seem like this Park was cursed. Well, I decided to take the youngest alone to that park today, and we had a very lovely two hour and 15 minute stay, and absolutely nothing horrible went wrong. hopefully this means it’s back to being a lovely place to visit, and the bad luck that was clouding the place for us has cleared out.
