It’s Cath Waters. She’s gained a lot in popularity since we first found the coasters years ago and now has lots of lovely products and an outlet and showroom on the Isle of Skye. It’s probably just as well I’m not a great fan of Skye and am unlikely to visit any time soon or my bank balance might suffer!

We got this roku thing instead of a new TV and as well as letting us watch our regular services it has channels. Like I watched hours of 48hours while I did chores. Now we are watching Ninja warriors. We can watch non stop Antiques roadshow. The machine includes these things and costs the same as a month of premium cable when I was a kid.

Latest round of mending done, 4 shirts and 2 socks (although one of the shirts I’m about to give up and start sewing patches on because while it claims to be wool which was the whole reason I grabbed it, the threads seem to snap if you look at them hard). Also test batch of limoncello mixed, but holy hell does it need to be watered down.

For my fellow Tillamook ice cream fans! It’s buy one get one 50% off at our grocery store, so I took the opportunity to try the German Chocolate Cake flavor. Very good, highly recommend.

Due to being very casual about measuring and having too much vegetables and bread, instead of one planned vegetable strata for dinner I had almost enough for two. One trip to the store for more cheese and a container that can go in the freezer and I have a future dinner ready to go. Even better, I was going to use a freezer ziti later this week so they can just be swapped out.

The greatest period of my life was when my cousin was ice cream QA lead for them. He would come to family parties with coolers and coolers of ice cream that barely didn’t make spec 
truly, blessed memories.
