Baby is now getting big enough, I think I can frequently identify the body parts she punches/kicks/jabs out into me. It’s cute. (Especially since I somehow sleep through it still pretty well! Knock on wood…)

Zoo day with my friend and her kids. They were riding the zoo train, so I found a cool and shady coffee shop where I could drink tasty coffee and put my feet up for a few minutes. It was heavenly.
Also, you know, got to see my friend!

I was going to complain about trying to find a shirt for my kid on Amazon (sooo much gendered bullshit on little kid clothes) that I was only shopping for because I wanted to pad out an order for free shipping, but then I remembered that there are not-Amazon places to find specialty things online. Now hopefully the thing will show up timely. I’m fine with paying $5 shipping to not-Amazon. Bonus: the actual item cost about the same.
I still need shirts for him but I can get them second hand this weekend and also use it as a “Entertain my mom away from my house” thing, she’ll love going clothes shopping for him. (Now let’s see if she turns up her nose at me taking her to a second hand shop…)
Edit: And it shipped today!! Should be here in 2-4 days! Suck it Amazon.
