Hold me closer, Tony: I set up two doctor’s appointments in one phone call over a week ago. I forget the time and date of one of them. I’ve been putting off calling to find out, because phones are hard, but today they texted me a reminder! Wheeee.
I left work on time and went to the gym and did cardio. I have been meaning to do cardio for a month. I am trying to become less undevastating (I think I have the facial expression down already, though).
It’s 2:53 pm and I feel like taking a nap. And I can. So I’m gonna.
You are doing what we all want to do
Getting a like new ikea dresser for $20. FB marketplace score! This will let me store baby clothes more effectively, and sort them more. So I can also see what else I’ll still need.
I sent someone to chaeban for ice cream
I had people (plural!) over for dinner and we made tacos. The kitchen was full of humans and children chopping toppings and making tortillas from scratch. Then we stuffed our faces. Then the humans sat around with dogs on us and chatted for a couple of hours. Human interaction success!
I have a few Tony victors! I sent an email I was a bit worried about, made a plan of action for something else in case I don’t receive feedback in time for a deadline and filled out tedious paperwork.
I made seitan!
I made a phone call I didn’t want to make, and it went fine!
Got a document down to the exact length it needs to be. Now to wait on feedback for ~2 weeks…
Oh yeah, my Tony Victor is that I have an Amazon Prime trial and my favorite TV show of all time is available in its entirety (with ads, unfortunately), even the season 3 Christmas episode, which is mysteriously missing from the DVDs.
Sooooo… yesterday’s pinched nerve (or WHATEVER, GODDAMN YOU STUPID BODY)… this lasted all god damn day yesterday (until I went to bed) and mysteriously disappeared overnight. I can’t even say it was caused by better sleep because I got 5 hours the first night and 5 hours last night. (THANK YOU DOGGO.)
But it doesn’t hurt in that weird way anymore, so hurrah!
Work coffee was actually good* today!
*Not coffee-flavored water, also not so oversteeped it requires special handling for toxic substances.
Free office food!
Free lunch paid for by boss at restaurant I love! Yummm baked spaghetti with cheese.
Had delicious curry for lunch from a restaurant because I took a young relative out for a birthday lunch. Also, I’m making a different delicious curry for supper tonight. Then, for lunch tomorrow, I have leftovers from lunch today.
All the curry = Tony Victor.
Just made my second exchange of bread for eggs (with the same people, so you know they actually liked the first one!) They have dozen chickens and are drowning in eggs in the summer. It’s a sweet deal for everyone! We’re doing a dozen eggs a loaf of sourdough - way cheaper (and better) than grocery store eggs, and from happy backyard chickens! Last week they took 1 loaf and this week they took 2! Plus it prompted me to buy a couple of bannetons so my loaves are prettier (and no longer stick, like, at all - banneton > colander). Yesterday I made homemade spaghetti with a half dozen, and I’m going to make ice cream tonight I think!
The only thing I want in life is hot and sour soup… And I just remembered that the chi ese food place across the park makes cheap, médiocre hot and sour soup!!! It is worth putting on clothes!!!
The Ethiopian place makes Ethiopian food that takes away my sads. Food win!
