I put on several bathing suits today and felt very good about myself, which is a new thing for me.

For me it’s been something like this: Have baby, realize body is awesome, give less fucks about anyone’s opinion, including my own.
TBD if this new attitude sticks around.

I have another two (on a roll today!):
- Worked out how to systematically review journal articles in a way that works for my brain
- bought chinos last week that have an elasticated waist and they are really comfy but feel suitable for wearing in public. The perfect blend of trackie dacks and jeans.
It’s worked for me. I’d say I’m 80% cured of Body Shit thanks to pregnancy and motherhood.

I went to yoga and I’m not dying! I’m not even particularly broken!
One of my favourite meals in the world: garlic, mushrooms and asparagus, cooked in butter and topped with a fried egg with a runny yolk. Heaven. And only available for a few weeks each spring.
Currently eating a curry with garlic scapes. Spring is heavenly.
Was only woken by my bladder and cats last night, not the kid. Got a solid night’s sleep.
I put away my latest mocking-me laundry pile!
I just did yoga for the first time in forever even though there are many other things I “should” have done instead. Quotes because the damn laundry will be there later.
Disappointed my pair of Blunnies soles fell off after minimal usage.
Replaced them with Redbacks, still going strong., thankfully.
Needed a glue stick at 10 pm. Actually had one.

It is not currently raining. Although it might rain later, ffs.
But overnight lows look good. 49 tonight and then 50s+. HALLELUJAH.
As I noted in the gratitude thread, I have just discovered that grits are as good with olive oil as with butter. Health win, or at least a Tony Victor.
