Yep. I thought I might get over my kombucha phase, but I L O V E it and could not keep grabbing a bottle at CVS for $4.29. Even at Aldi it’s $2.95.

My love affair with kombucha is still in the honeymoon phase, but I think it’s going to develop into a long term relationship. I’ll be interested to hear how it goes for you!

Congrats! Making kombucha is so fun and easy! I loved experimenting with different fruits for the second ferment. I had a few gallons going constantly for about a year and then moved and never started it back up. It’s so inexpensive to make, but so convenient to buy that I haven’t been motivated to start again lately.

I called my car repair place to ask if they would look at my car. They asked what for and my answer was “I don’t know, it just doesn’t sound right.” LOL way to sound dumb! Anyway… it’s a wheel bearing. I’m not sure what they do, but I’m getting a brand spanking new one! Plus two tires while it’s in the shop.

I’m glad they were able to fix it! And yeah, I don’t really know how a non-mechanic is supposed to tell them what sound wrong when its a bearing like that. If you haven’t heard one before, it’s hard to diagnose!

It’s finally cool enough that I don’t have to run the A/C at night! My wife was freezing so we turned the heat on this morning, but I’ve had the windows in my office open and it’s marvelous.

Um. My heat has been on for like two months.

I was about to commiserate with you since we are still running the ac most nights, but then I read the next post. It’s currently 76 degrees and perfect outside.

There is a dog in my landlady’s back yard. I met it through my window and it is 100% sweet doggo. I don’t know why it is there and how long it is staying, but I hope I get to pet it!

My work friends on the call with me are playing the game “Baby or cockatoo?” with the background noise from the vendor.

They are probably impressed that you noticed and responded appropriately to a bearing* roar. It can be subtle and lots of people ignore it.

*It’s a little metal ball that fits into a ring full of little metal balls and grease and allows your wheel to go round and round without (much) friction.

An explanation I can understand! Thanks! I’m just hoping my car will be quieter. I had to keep turning the music up louder! What happens if you ignore it?

Uneven tire wear in early stages. Little metal balls all over the road and one wheel that isn’t turning anymore in the extreme worst case.
