I discovered that I can salvage this gross lentil stew by adding what probably is an unreasonable amount of sriracha. Too bad it took until the last container to discover that.

I’m having my first good health day in over a month. I’ve changed my sheets, baked challah, cleaned the kitchen, and swept the floor. Later if I am still going strong I’ll make dinner and work out. It’s so exciting to not be in bed!*

The dentist’s office and I have been trying for weeks to get D’s extensive dental work through the insurance. Today they called and not only did it finally go through, they are paying more than expected so we’re getting a big check back!!!

I picked up my office chair to borrow from my work building today. It is a ridiculously comfortable Herman Miller something something…I have no idea why I didn’t do this sooner, I have been standing at my desk and/or sitting on my patio chair or the edge of my bed for literally 8 months now. I have an actual chair to sit in! Amazing.

I just invented a grandiose breakfast food. With lots of options for flavor profile spins. Googling the concept shows nothing similar on the first page of results which means the space is new enough. Am I going to be the next “cronut”?

I’m actually legitimately going to test making it all from scratch but I’m not experienced with dough. First taste test was accidentally discovered by putting a lot of things in a microwave
