I’ve been putting a post in Linkedin about once a month for the past year. The most recent comment has gotten the most traction, more views, more likes, than anything else I’ve written there (including posting contract job openings).
But the very best thing was being in a call this morning and having a person say basically, ‘last week you put a comment in Slack or something about x and it really reminded me that I believe that, so that’s what we’re trying to do for this initiative’.

My TV is that my baby tried both wet and dry cat food on consecutive days before age 8 months. So now I don’t have to worry about what happens if he gets into the cat food.
I have finally decided to go to the river after all, and take my own car so I can come back early. Why did that take so long?
I baked acorn squash for dinner and it was delicious.
My baby only woke up once, ate, went right back to sleep, and spent zero time screaming face down on her mattress. As opposed to the 3-4 hours a night she normally does that for right now. I got like a 6.5 hour first stretch of sleep. Hallelujah.

TV is that the Lowe’s hold music has been “I Just Wanna Dance With Somebody” followed by “Ballroom Blitz” not the combination I expected, but so good nonetheless.
Update: big ol’ giant Anthony Victor is that I found enough boxes and our contractor is headed to get them!!

Omg me too. The tile guy forgot to tell me we needed more tile last night and we had to go to (not exaggerating) 5 locations to get what we had already used so I was panicking a little bit! But thank goodness they had some at the closest location and the human angel I talked to on the phone set them aside for me. I thanked him profusely and I hope he has an amazing day
Just took the kitties in for their checkup and shots and the vet said they are both “in amazing shape from head to tail” and that “you guys are doing a great job with them.”
Both are in perfect health. Hooray!
Neko Case got the tiniest, fluffiest kitten. Her Insta is full of kitten photos and videos. I just became even more of a fan of hers.
I finally had my nap and now I have a margarita in hand and chicken tinga nachos in the oven.
I pointed out to my parents that, given the implications of reproductive rights restrictions on IVF, their chance at more grandchildren may be predicated on them not voting for Trump. I literally begged. They’re Republicans in Arizona. I’m shaking, this is one of the more confrontational things I’ve ever done to them. They haven’t replied yet, but I’m glad I said my piece.
I reached inbox zero with 30 min left of my Friday. This is literally the first time I have been all the way caught up in at least 3 months.
