This morning I
a) felt guilty about how long it’s been since I trimmed the dog’s nails
b) realized I had some uninterrupted time on my hands (irony: got interrupted while typing the word uninterrupted)
c) actually got motivated to leash the dog in the spot for nail trims (she is not a fan)
d) actually got through all the nails!! Usually I only get two feet done, not four feet.

I chopped a bunch of veggies and made hummus this weekend so that I actually eat lunch when I have a super busy work day. I am so happy with myself right now as I am eating actual food for lunch instead of pieces of chocolate and plantain chips

Free pair of Cole Haan loafers :scream: I love loafers so much and the pair I have are worn into the ground and yet I continue to put them on to go to work

Why has it never occurred to me that this could exist?

It would be a victory for me if someone here would decide for me if I should join my parents and my brother’s family for a long weekend river trip next week. I have been vacillating for two weeks and am annoying everyone involved with my indecisiveness.

I don’t do much besides work, this would give me a break, but I still need money to live, so not working has a cost.

I will probably need some medical accommodations that might make it less fun for others. But I won’t know unless I try.

Kid-4 is scheduled to move into her very first apartment, leaving my nest empty and me moving back in with my own parents, just two days after the trip. I’m afraid all I’ll be thinking about at the river is missing Kid’s last few days at home together. The trip was planned before the move.

I did get that cute bathing suit that I had to go to four different Targets to find.

Please direct me to victory.

I think you should go on the trip- you need the break, your family wants to spend time with you, you found a bathing suit and you should use it. As someone who skipped doing things because of cost, I missed out on some fun and some bonding with people. Go make some nice memories with your family.

I called/e-mailed two therapists today. I’ve had their numbers written down for weeks and couldn’t get up the nerve to contact them until today.

I stood up for my day off and asked a client to modify a request they just sent me for services and they were like “yes, absolutely” and it wasn’t even a big deal!

I still get clammy saying “no” to anyone, but I am getting better at it!!

I made salad as part of dinner last night so my dinner was not 99% carbs.

Halloween decorations are still in progress due to rain but I got a ginormous spider web and I see people looking at it and smiling as they walk by. Yay! They’re who I decorated for!

Edit: Oh, and this crowd will appreciate that I just got colored dry erase markers in the mail. We got a whiteboard for Kiddo’s school stuff and now I can write stuff in colors! :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
