That is so satisfying! Someone on my Buy Nothing was looking for a wood door and I told her that if she can wait, I’ll have two-- we have the original basement doors, and then my contractor gave me these beautiful old doors from another project (with really gorgeous glass knobs), so after we pick out the ones we’ll use there will be two leftover. She’s interested in taking both!

I have successfully kept my house clean for the past 2 weeks. I am a really messy person, and tend to let things pile up until I have 2-3 hours worth of cleaning to do which then sucks to get done and causes a lot of back pain. I’ve been cleaning up for 15 min a day every day, and also cleaning something up right when I make a mess, and it turns out that is all I need to do to maintain a clean house…and it is so much easier on my back!
Who knew! It took me 29 years to figure this out

I closed out 35 action items from my list earlier this week. A few still need approval from the top before going into prod, but it’s not in my court anymore.

I figured out a different way to wear my mask that still covers my face adequately. It’s not very comfortable, but it’s a way to take a break from the normal way when my ears hurt. This is especially good now that masks will be required at all times (except when at your own desk) in my building.
