I made tofu salad yesterday (without century eggs, because Marmalade also wants to eat it and I’m down to my last two black eggs, cries) and it was delicious! I’d forgotten that we had bought gojuchang at the Korean grocery last year and it’s so good. I also put fried garlic, edamame, tamari, and loads of sesame oil.

I don’t have a nasty unpleasant downstairs neighbor any more, so I very thoroughly and at length vacuumed my entire apartment. Boyfriend did the stairs since I have issues repeatedly lifting the vacuum up stairs, and he also vacuumed all the cat hair off of the couch and living room chair. It looks great in here now.

My mom used to make tofu salad once in a while but I don’t know if it’s a traditional dish or something she just made up! Usually it’s fresh tofu mixed with diced garlic, scallions, century eggs, soy sauce, Chinese Xinjiang black vinegar, and sesame oil (basically dumpling sauce). Once I added grated parmesan and some chopped kale and it was super good

I found a place to store B’s awkwardly shaped doggy wheelchair! AND the door still closes!! It’s been on the floor/in the way generally but I did some rearranging! Easy to grab down too!
