Same here! Right around 100 all week last week and then high 70s to mid 80s this week. It’s heaven.

I’m very whiny today but I’m also about to eat a quesadilla that I didn’t have to cook and it’s making me so happy I could cry

After 17 days of waiting, my adorable super clearance dutch oven came in (I couldn’t remember whose journal we were talking about these on, haha) and it is looks so cute on my tiny stove.

ETA: I cleaned my stove for the first time in 3 weeks just to take this picture, which is a tiny victory in itself

I made these tonight. And it worked, pudding-like on the bottom, cakey on top. And oh so lemony!

Thank you! I thrifted it my freshman year of college and somehow have managed not to break it over 11 years and probably 15 moves. Miracle! (I break everything, haha)

Husband brought me home bacon and strawberries from the store when he went. Surprise treats are always delightful, but this is especially delightful.

I have wanted a cup/water bottle holder on my bike for a long time, I can’t put one in the middle because I use a center satchel.
The cheapest I have found a handle bar holder was about $10, but YouTube showed me how to make one out of a can, a sock, and some zip ties and it looks a little wobbly in this picture but it’s not it’s super secure – I’m so excited!!!
Yes it looks… like a can w/ a sock on it. :joy: because it is! I might figure out a way to make it look cooler eventually.

This is amazing! I love it!

Try spray painting it! It might look better and be a little sturdier. Or it will be trashed and you’ll have to find another sock and can. Worth a shot?

(spray painting is my handyman secret weapon. It often doesn’t work but I still keep doing it)

You could even spray paint it silver and add some bling! You know, glue on rhinestones, shit like that.

(Don’t listen to me)

You are so resourceful! Seriously, I admire how you always seem to find a solution to a problem, with little to no money required

Yes!
I should have painted it before I zip tied the hell out of it onto my bike- I don’t have enough zip ties to cut and redo it so it’s just gonna look like this for a while :joy:

And I am totally with you! I just now spray-painted one of my old baking trays out in the yard so that I can use it as a boot tray.
I am a spray paint queen as well – royalty unite!
