I made brownies today and forgot the recipe called for adding ingredients in a specific order, including beating the eggs in individually. It turned out better just throwing everything in the bowl and mixing at once!
Interesting! I have Erie and I think they’re part of nationwide maybe? I got an email saying they’re refunding part of policies but it had no specifics
It’s unreasonable for us to go out to acquire trim boards right now, so husband is sawing some from storm-downed cherry trees.
Getting sushi after taking a long drive to get some sunshine and not have to deal with idiot neighbors who don’t understand/respect social distancing.
Supporting small business and seeing sights that are not my house feels great.
I don’t wanna cook but I’m at least making bread
Also, who was it who recommended the HU (@Elle was it you?)? Because damn we are enjoying the hell out of them.
Bread is the staff of life.
Oh yeah. I made biscuits for breakfast, bread is rising for tomorrow.
Chop an onion for a stirfry? No thanks. Chop an onion to put into biscuits? Hand me the knife.
I did reccomend!
I stretched for 30 mins and did some silent cardio
Went on a walk outside in 8-10 inches of snow and 17 degree windchill.
ETA totally meant to post this in the “How did you move today” thread, but I am pretty proud of myself, since I didn’t want to go outside initially
My wife said I made her feel special on her birthday yesterday.
I got surprise partial child support!
Your legs are not entirely covered, Daisy can help you with that.
Kiddo utterly destroyed one of his books during quiet time today. The unbound pages are now his “important papers”.
TV: It was a book I kind of hated that he recently took an interest in. Now I don’t have to read it to him 1-2 times a day for the next few weeks!
Baby and I went for a baby wearing walk today!
So I got outside and walking, and he was happy
I got to make a bread related joke at work today.
Planted out the garden today, except for the tomato and pepper starts, which should wait another couple weeks but which are hardening off now.
In full sun: corn, blackeyed peas, chard, kale, summer squash, basil, chives, radishes. Marigold to ward off pests. Peppers and tomatoes to join there later.
In partial shade: turnips/greens, rutabagas/greens, nasturtium, kale, chard, spinach, radishes.
Already have potatoes growing in shade but some more I was trying to sprout inside are finally cooperating, so I can add another wire cages (growing them vertically in aged straw).
Survived another week of grocery shopping.
Weather will be good all weekend so should get lots of outdoor time in the garden or taking walks. Been too worn out after teaching most days this week to get much done outside.
