Is anyone getting partial reimbursement from your car insurance? Mine sent an email that they are refunding 15% of the premium for April and May. It’s going to be around $40 total, but I will take it!

Ours is doing a 20% credit if we’re still active on May 1st. I think that’s just for the month of May, maybe they’ll do it for June too on the first of that month.

Mine did something too! I got the notice a few weeks ago and had actually just gotten a car again so I can’t remember the details but I think it’s pretty amazing for these companies to do so.

They said it’s because people aren’t driving so there are fewer accidents. This makes sense, but they didn’t have to do it. And some companies are not.

I haven’t heard anything from mine (State Farm) yet, but I did just call them to lower my annual mileage and should see a drop in premiums.

I see news articles that State Farm is reducing fee (via credit at some point) - but I didn’t get any notice (WTF?).

My tiny victory is that my cat jumped off the bed this morning to barf up a hairball on the wood floor rather than on the bed. Yay!

I paid for 6 months and got an email that they will give the credit the same way I paid which was by credit card. They did say it has to pass some approval so it may take a bit? They said it will happen automatically and I don’t have to contact my agent. I’m just happy to get anything back honestly.
My insurance company is a smaller one, no news about discounts. They always rebate a certain percentage of the policy every year without a claim though.
