I got my tax refund! And it was very close to the contribution limit for my RRSP*! So now that is fully funded for the year, using free money!
Plus the stock market is on sale.

My first day as 100% remote is going well. So far the team is collaborating and everyone is logging in when they should. Here’s hoping this gets us progress towards more days out of the office in the future.

Morning time means this clogged duct is annoying, unlike overnight when it was a catastrophe and I would die and no one would be able to feed :lion:and dead me would have one zombie boob and also we’d have to go out in the world

Ignoring that both :lion: and I were well taken care of all night and held and comforted while I called the nurse line this morning

My baby just ate while awake and in a bright room, with no song and dance involved. First time in over a month. Maybe it’s a fluke, but not being screamed at and having to worry about her weight every waking moment is nice.

I just taught my FIL and his tech challenged buddy how to add each other as friends on Discord. I’m quite pleased that I’ve finally fulfilled my Millennial duty of tech support to family :joy:

We have made progress with Kid-3’s health insurance application! We’re stuck right now at the Experian identity verfication step (they’re closed until tomorrow). Hopefully I can walk Kid through the phone call they need to make tomorrow to get that step done. Then I can take over again and get the rest accomplished.

Getting both an Oregon state ID and health insurance will have taken eight months. :exploding_head:

I just saw my cat Maple and I was like “wtf there’s a cat in my house!” … Like I legit forgot I gave a cat now.
I was so scared to adopt a cat a few months ago and now I’m so glad my little house is more full of life. :cat: :dog::dancer:

I feel that way about my houseful of mammals. The weight of so many dependants sucks, but they are also really good for me.

My victory- I’m writing this while on the toilet. AT THE NEW HOUSE. WHERE I CAN FLUSH AND WASH MY HANDS AFTER.
Running water is dope a f.

I have 3 months of supplies for normal existence, plus another 3 worth of food that is less interesting but still nutritious. I didn’t really buy more of anything than normal, apparently I just fill up empty space with food. God help us all if I get a barn some day.

Grocery order got cancelled last night but I’m seeing it as a positive since I got to drive H to work and have some quality time, I got to see how the stores are to assuage some anxiety, and I came in under budget and did not at any point feel the need to buy a cart full of TP. All great things.

AND! Nearly forgot, I was able to get the ingredients for the pho I have been craving
