I opened my visa bill. There is enough on it in refunds to buy my mum’s tablet even if it doesn’t go on sale. The refunds are all on Amazon. The tablet is Amazon. Seems fair and less like Shoop at Amazon

I’m falling down, dropping things level tired. My friend got a hotel room to host her kid’s birthday party. She invited me to the pre-party where we relax in the pool. It felt so amazing. Now I am even more tired, but the floppy kind instead of the miserable kind. Yay for water!

Our victory is, really, this whole weekend. It’s just been completely awesome. We just took Duckling to sushi train and he ate it and liked it! (He just pulled the tuna and rice out of some rolls). Much fun.

I found a place in new city that sells bulk laundry soap, cleaning products, body products, etc…and all of the brands I already use, except now I can just keep filling up the same containers, AND it’s cheaper! I am so pumped!

I figured out (from google) how to do a stretchy zigzag stitch by hand, and fixed the pair of almost new underwear that was coming unmoored from its waist band. That underwear has probably been in the drawer for 9 months, and it took less than 15 minutes.

Even though the weather was cold this weekend (cold for here, anyway) Kiddo was able to go swimming in a hot tub and even took himself out every few minutes without much prompting. The water warmed me up enough that when I got out I did not immediately freeze even though the wind picked up. Now I know for future reference that this is a thing that can happen when my dad is visiting and staying at that hotel, which is so much nicer than explaining 43920 times to kiddo that he can’t go swimming today.

I’ve been doing too much, and have angered my body. (That’s not the victory). We have no appointments today, and so far I am doing very good at NOT doing things. This is antithetical to my usual tendency toward busyness, so it’s a major victory for me. GOOD JOB BEING LAZIER, SELF

My SIL and I decided to go in on a gift together for my husband for Christmas (a Nintendo Switch). It’s too expensive for either of us alone and he will never expect it because of the price but he will be so excited.

All I know is that I personally will need Mario Kart . A great thing about this gift is his birthday is in January so I can always get him more games then! Usually it’s hard to come up with two great gifts so close together.
