Well, just damn. There’s another company with similar business model but I don’t remember the name. IP Daley recommended it to me along with Arrow Direct on the MMM forum several years ago. I’ll see if I can find it.
Edit: He also recommended EPC at the same time as Arrow Direct. Haven’t tried them myself yet, but I’ll tell you I had to return the last laptop I got from Arrow Direct (wrong power cord, wouldn’t recognize its drive) plus it was sticky all over in a way I couldn’t clean. So they may have been going downhill. Here’s EPC: https://deals.epcusa.com/
Also I have a business-class refurb on the way from Amazon (to replace the one I returned to Arrow), so I can tell you about that experience shortly.
Oh no! This is awful. Have you tried ginger - that is supposed to help (but I don’t know if it’s ever contraindicated in combination with other meds or conditions). Thinking calm tummy thoughts for you.
We need to take all the victories we can. Does being in a cool dark place help? That helps me when I am nauseated (but that is typically due to an infection - so also have a fever, etc.)
Agreed, weight stabilisation is a big thing and you should celebrate! (By resting or something, since I’d take a guess that’s about all you can do right now anyway). Maybe fulfil a craving, if you happen to have any. I’m having icy poles after my nap.
My tiny complaint: some of my amazon purchases didn’t work out, so now I need to return them. In particular, I am very bummed that a cute maternity/nursing sleep dress I got is ACTUALLY LONG ENOUGH, but because of the striped pattern is itchy where the fabrics join. sobs
FWIW, you’re not alone. I had stocked up on ginger tea around 4 weeks when it was on sale, feeling sooooo proactive. NOPE. Ginger was a seriously strong food aversion for me. I didn’t even want it in our pantry. I made SirB put it in a ziplock and hide it, so I wouldn’t have to smell OR see it. Bleh. Everyone acted like I was crazy for having a ginger aversion.
I got a lovely new glider, and it’s sooo nice because my tail bone is happy on it. Well, we had neighbors over for a puppy play date and everyone took various seats- including the glider! I ended up bringing over a wood kitchen chair. After sitting on that a couple hours, my pelvis and tailbone hurt a lot now enough so that I’m worried I won’t be able to get in a workout this afternoon like I planned.
I’m 12 episodes into Twin Peaks: The Return and I still have to consult the Wikipedia page several times an episode because I’m too confused to understand what’s happening. But I can’t not finish the series.
I’m glad I was able to help my friend clean out her house a little bit, but now I worry I’ll always think of my friend as “the semi-hoarder” and not “my lovely friend”.
