one of my sisters has pointed out that we do not have a car to the organizing sister, and offered to drive us. we have declined at this time (noting that 2 weeks is a long time right now)

Last night we randomly decided to go on a family bike ride today for the first time ever, which required putting air back in my tires and a general check up on my bike which I wasn’t enthused about but was willing to do.
It’s supposed to rain most of the day, so now we can’t do that and I’m annoyed even though I haven’t done any bike maintenance yet.

I live juuuuuust close enough to an area of the city with gunshots that I can very occasionally hear some if they happen in the eastern side of that area and I also live juuuust close enough to the country folk that people set off fireworks on holidays.
What a fun thing to guess when it sounds sorta close but it’s also a holiday.
