My leftover chicken soup I heated up for lunch tastes funny. I guess it’s too leftover. But I’m sad because there’s still a lot in the fridge. What a waste. Also, I’m still hungry.

Saskatoon berries have a lot of names all over. They are also called service berries and june berries.
Taste similar to a seedy blueberry. They plant a lot of bushes in parks because they are native and pretty hardy and good for birds

Yes, Saskatoon berry pie. I added some green apples for the pectin and juice.
Imo saskatoons taste like blueberries + red wine. Blueberries are bright and simple and lovely, saskatoons are more complex. Also culturally important for indigenous people, some of whom are my favourite humans.
Today’s complaint is that my vacation ends now and I have to go back to the city. Beautiful luxurious cabin has been incredible.

Financial providers are being frustrating and likely are hitting the point at which we need to move things around. I understand that we are not as lucrative as their other clients, but still, we give them money, we ask for timely, basic deliverables in return. If they want to fire us, they should just fire us. If they need more money, they should tell us.
At the very least, they could apologize when they miss deadlines in a way that damages or inconveniences us, regardless of how slightly.
