broke my 2mm circular needle that I use to cast on 99% of my socks and my favourite local yarn store doesn’t seem to carry this variation (also, that yarn store is where we were on Thursday, not anywhere close to where we generally are).
ETA: The store that is ages away does have them in stock. So decisions.

unfortunately they are out in car land, a 25 minute walk from the fancy mall. So if I wanted to shop for very expensive clothing it would be a good match. (My favourite yarn store is around a ton of very good food)
eta: the shadowy one points out that shipping exists, and would be $10 from far away store instead of $14 for 2 people to transit both ways. it’s just the $10 for shipping $20 offends me

I understand that this is how the system works, but, Boyfriend has to see the ortho for both his arm and his knee. This cannot be done at the same appointment apparently so today they just focused on his arm and now he has to go back next week for his knee.
Really, my TC is that they thought they should address the arm first when the knee is what has the acute injury?!

The arm will probably need more total appointments though? And sounded like it affects more daily activities? I hope he can book back to back, that would be way more convenient!

I don’t know? Maybe? He’d like to be able to walk around without the knee brace; he feels like he still needs it for stairs or walking longer distances. So for him that is a priority.
But the arm impedes his ability to work…

I just had two complaints, for - stuff we already monitor. So it’s a boilerplate response “That location is on our signal warrant list and we monitor it by counting it twice a year.”
But they left PHONE NUMBERS ONLY. Like, I had to call them, not send the boilerplate email.

TC: Adela the cat had soft poop stuck to her butt and then tried to scoot on the floor to get it off and only succeeded in mashing it into her fur.
TV: she let me wash her butt in the sink without very much complaint until I checked and washed it a second time, and that’s when she decided that she’d had enough!
