I hate the way those look on my body, haha. It’d certainly be easier, though!
It’s surprisingly 100% cotton, and there is no elastic in the waist, so at least if I take it apart I don’t have to worry about ruining the gathering for the waistband. I’m going to get my husband to help me pin it once I take it apart, we’ll see how it goes. Much more work than I wanted for a garment that I wasn’t planning to construct myself

Related TC: we had our termite prevention yesterday. Sunday, we noticed a small wasp nest by the front door in the bushes, crawling with wasps. I figured we could ask the guy about it. I heard dish soap might be effective. Didn’t want to use toxic chemicals.
I was in a meeting though because the guy showed up 45 minutes early. Boyfriend told him about the nest and didn’t think to tell him no poison please.
He did move the potted basil to the backyard, but the in-ground basil likely got doused. 
That spray smelled terrible too!

I want to finish my costume but I ran out of trim and the store that I got it from is only open 9-5 and is in the suburbs half an hour away.

Their website is such shit! I tried to buy a class from them and gave up after trying in multiple browsers and it never worked.
Also, why are you renewing the memberships for everyone at your office? Don’t let all them foist all the admin things onto you because you are the only woman and the youngest!

My kid is sick.
My dad, without asking anyone, made chicken soup for the kid and is now trying to shame and guilt him into abandoning his veganism.
He was going to lie about the ingredients but I shut that down.
Grampa is sulking and kid feels guilty.

There’s a fire about 13 miles southwest of us that’s doubled in size today to 1800 acres, and is at 0% containment 
The weather for the next week is mid 90s, no rain.

Wasn’t able to fall back asleep after the 4am feed so I was up extra early (that’s not even the complaint lol) and when I went to the back yard to see the moon, two RATS ran along the top of my fence 
so today has been obsessive and intensive yard and garage cleaning to make sure there are no hidden nests (none found) and importantly no inviting areas that they’ll be tempted to move in. Little assholes solved the question of who has been eating my bush bean plants though

My bank card wouldn’t work because I was entering the wrong pin? But it worked before with the same pin? I have now reset it and will see tomorrow. Oh and the travel advisory was also not set on it like the previous person said they would do? Good thing I brought 3 credit cards with me.
