I guess she didn’t want it to be done, actually!
She was shocked when she came back online an hour later and I was frustrated and had left her 4 long chats. Haha. She actually had no idea how complicated the whole thing was and when I told her I had already spent 2 hrs on it she was like oh this is some BS then was also annoyed that the engineer didn’t just do it. This is my boss though…it’s never intentional, she’s just way too overworked to look into everything before handing it over.
All the restaurants around book club were closed to I took my chances on end of night grocery store tabbouleh and grilled chicken. Got home and the tabbouleh smelled off. So I’m just forlornly eating grilled chicken on the couch at 10pm.
People will definitely take midges into account when booking, but it’s also that most people here (me included) would say that May is the best month of the year to visit.
It’s often the driest/sunniest month, everything is open for the season but the visitor numbers are still reasonable compared to July/Aug.
Nooooo. I hope morning brings more food
What kind of book club doesn’t feed you!!
Baby up at 4AM today
Nanny share is at our house for a week before Ravioli goes to daycare. I dislike NOT being able to walk around and fart in my own space, alone. Or make tea whenever I want tea, and not worry about inciting a toddler meltdown
Someone from Fidelity called and left a message saying they were reaching out to me (and mispronounced my very easy last name) about my workplace 401k plan, but then gave me no other information about WHY they were calling.
I got one of those. It’s not a scam but they can still go flounce off into the sunset.
That was my husband’s first question - are you SURE they’re really from Fidelity? I’m pretty sure they are, but I just want to be prepared for a follow up phone call! It’s like meeting requests that say “we need to talk”. So much anxiety.
It is held at a pastry/gelato place. But I wanted real food.
Had to ask the nanny to wake Ravioli up from his nap on time. I hope this results in more night sleep tonight.
The very saturated Etsy category that I worked on listing details for today, is actually prohibited. So I won’t. But I think they should delete all the $1 shit listings and the $3000 scammers. Because as it stands it doesn’t LOOK like a prohibited category
Couldn’t get back to sleep after the 4:15am baby feed, and I was like well at least I can get up and see the full moon! …it was already too low in the sky to see. Wompwomp.
I bought an arms-length of raffle tickets at the fundraiser that my krewe performed at last night, and won NOTHING.
(But 2 of my krewemates won stuff I wanted - so that was cool, I’m happy for them.)
I want to listen to Taylor Swift at work but I forgot my airpods on the charger at home.
The asshole designer who made accessible and family washrooms have an accessible push to open button with no uphigh/math problem something override
Turmeric stains on our new baking sheets. Soaking overnight has not helped, vinegar has not helped.
I sent a coworker a document to update, and one of their changes was deleting a specific requirement. During the review cycle, they then made a comment that I was missing said requirement that they themselves deleted last month.
Mmm seems like a great time for track changes
