This is a terrible cupboard. I have one exactly like it. But with a full width shelf. It is useless. You have my sympathies.

Haha! It’s a silly cabinet, but better than wasting the space entirely I guess? The index card makes it useful for bulk products or things I rarely use. The pots are easy enough to slide out.

I have more frequently used pots and bakeware on the accessible side and less frequently used (roasting pan) farther back. Very corner has emergency water.

The symmetrical other corner is dead space because that side has drawers instead of cabinets. These are the only drawers, so I am glad… But also wasted space.

When I had a cabinet like that I put two large empty boxes in the back corner because I knew I’d never pull out what was in the corner. I’m glad you’re getting use from your corner!

My bathroom counter was quite fucked after coming home from our trip and not unpacking my toiletries right away.

I still have far too much shit, but at least it’s contained now.

It only took about five minutes so I’m not sure why I lived like this for nearly a week, but sometimes I am not logical. :woman_shrugging:

I love your organizers!

So called “lazy Susan’s” (spinning plates? Whatever the other term is) are so so handy for spaces like these! That and baskets- that way you can just pull the whole contents out from the back at once and not need to crawl in, lol.

I have those in the top cabinet, but this is too short vertically and too deep (too rectangular).

They make special drawers that pull out nonlinearly, but not worth the investment in a rental!

Yeah for the super deep one I had, that’s when the baskets really shined. It was the bulk of my storage space but totally inaccessible. I kept my Tupperware in a basket and it could fairly easily slide on and out- pull instant pot out, get basket. Then I only had to move 2 things, no 50,000 individual things.

This is where my patented “Baby on a Rope” really shines.

Pictures? I’ve got a similarly shaped cabinet.

I didn’t get a before picture, but I sorted through two of my old boxes of stuff from college! (so… 5 years ago? :grimacing:) The boxes had begun to molder in the garage, and a lot of the old plastic had to be thrown out (warped from the heat??) but the stone and glassware’s still fine, and I rediscovered my old Star Trek glasses!!!

It’s nice having consistently good taste

Edit: I guess this is mid-def*cking, as I have to run these through the dishwasher and pack them away to get moved but hey! I’ll have an after photo then!

The Boy unf*cked the pantry! Woot! It always seemed like it was overflowing. It was not. Everything fits just fine, you just have to organize it. Who knew? Sadly my immersion blender is now super hard to reach, but this seems a small price to pay.

I unf*cked a pantry today, too. Or rather, this cabinet we use as a pantry. I cleaned everything out and organized, but I also added baskets and labels.I hope that works to keep it organized. This thing is usually a mess and things are falling out!

Looks great! I also added baskets to my pantry about a month ago! I have fewer people in my household but so far so good - still organized and looks really nice, so hoping yours also works well :+1:

The yarn is bagged, so I guess it is better than strewn.
