I am here to celebrate dinos. Nobody of worth will fail to be enamoured of dinosaurs. And see how well the original material’s colour goes with the accent colour in the new fabric.

Doggie snood knit complete, now just to stitch - I made mistakes every time I got too engrossed in GBBO or Enola Holmes and some of them I didn’t know how to fix or didn’t notice for a while but my pupper won’t mind

This is gonna look so cute on! I can’t wait to see! :dog:

First try on; I still need to buy cord locks- it’s super bright in here right now so I’ll have to get a better picture later - he doesn’t seem to mind it at all though!

New Pup and Cat are not so keen :joy::rofl:

So I ordered a bunch of sock yarn and the shipper used a bunch of wool roving(I think?) as padding. Is it possible to spin or felt this without any equipment? What would you all do with this lovely fluff?

If you have a dowel, you have a very basic spindle - it won’t be as easy as a real drop or lap spindle, but you can use it.

That being said, you can buy a spindle for 15-25 bucks. It’s a pretty cheap habit to get started in.

You can use them as thrums for the snuggliest slippers and mittens

I came across this pattern and I want to make it.

It would fit the wiggler. I have yarn that would suit the pattern (though not orange–I have some blue and some black, so I’d do blue background and black foreground). He needs a winter hat.

But… it’s $5 and no one else has made it. The designer has four patterns out and no one has made any of them, so there are no reviews to tell me whether the patterns are well-written.

Offer to do a test knit so that they have more entries in revelry?

This is a pretty good idea but I can’t bring myself to write the message :grimacing: This forum is good at wording advice. Does anyone have tips on how to word the message?

"Hi,

I really love the sample knit for Pumpkin Pals. However, I’m on a limited budget and I’m a little wary of paying $5 for a pattern that doesn’t have any user projects up yet; I find user feedback so helpful in evaluating patterns. I was wondering if you would consider providing the pattern for free in exchange for a user test knit with detailed notes, to help combat similar wariness in other Ravelers?

No worries, of course, if not! Hope you’re having a great spooky season."

^not my best work, I hate asking for things lol

Ok, so the mottled purple grey yarn is frogged and in time out, and I have started Sunset Highway with Vancouver yarn and Dublin yarn.

Woolly fluff update: I’ve got 5-year old felted slippers with a felt-covered rubber sole instep that has worn through. I’m gonna knit thrummed insole covers so my slippers are fluffy on the inside :sheep:
