This chair is supposed to be in the entryway for putting shoes on/off. But it’s really Bast’s chair, so I moved it to a sunbeam for her.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to how pretty your cat is.

Where did you get that toy?

It’s from a store called Meijer, they might be Michigan only? Anyway, it’s her favorite because the string is elastic so the bird jumps all over the place which makes her jump all over the place. It’s good exercise for her. It’s old though, and I haven’t been able to find the same type of thing in a while.

Kill the mousie…or at least the stretchy crinkly elephant-headed thing.

Meijer is one of my favorite places. I miss the upper Midwest.

I have a behavioral question. B has had several accidents that seem like excitement and H thinks we might need to talk to the vet about medication. Yesterday he peed all the way from one end of our condo all the way up our staircase. I think he was excited that I was going upstairs to my studio (and I told him to come with me because he loves being up there). He’s done this exact thing before, he also peed all over my couch and my dad when my dad invited him to lay with him and was excitedly petting him, and a few other times where there was some element of excitement. He never stops and pees in one spot in the house but when he rings his bells to go outside he diligently runs to the grass and stops and goes all at once. He doesn’t have any other symptoms that I can tell so I’m at a loss for what to do.

ETA: I guess I should actually add my question. Anyone else have this happen? Did meds help? I don’t feel like it’s a training issue because he does ask to go outside, it happened in front of the trainer and she suggested either a UTI or excitement because of the “walking pee”
