Working hard
I wanted to get all of Whisper’s feet in the picture but they’re too looooong and I would lose Karma in the image as well.
These are my monsters
Another night of mostly sleep and very little barf. Not none, but so much better. I’m hoping gabapentin was some of the problem (and hoping we can continue to get tramadol for him, not a guarantee with the current mania over opioid meds.) We’d tried cutting out gabapentin before without success, but maybe his stomach has healed more now? It’s all a mystery, but for now it’s enough that we have another day of dog acting like a dog and feeling good.
I was gone all day and now Sprocket is not moving from on top of me. I couldn’t leave if I wanted to.
My arm went numb as she was sleeping in this position. Had to move my hand off her tummy to take a picture and woke her up
Maple looks so accusatory
Obviously the door should never be closed.
Mine don’t give me an option. They’re either quick enough to be in the bathroom with me, and impossible to evict, or stand in the doorway and move in when I try to move them out >.>
I live alone so I just leave the door open with the exception of rare visitors. Mine hates closed doors, no matter which side she is on. Closed in, closed out are equally terrible!
A cousin shared this, with the caption:
Topher and Tuny figured out how to adjust the firmness of their mattress
Man, is it ear inspection time again?
I have always thought Topher was such a solid dog name. <3
Not a pet, but related – it’s a little chilly this morning so I grabbed a pair of rolled up gloves and when I unrolled them and put them on I realized I must have been petting an animal the last time I wore these. Lol.
Awww, Old Man Dog! I’m glad kitty is taking such good care of him.
Life is kinda hard.
Senior Cat passed away 2 years ago today, which Facebook reminded me of (thanks a lot, jerk!). It’s ok! I’m ok with it. But! I had included in the post this photo, which is Senior Cat with Original Cat, the first week or so they were together, in 2007. They were both adults when I adopted them, at different times, so they were not actually siblings, but they got along. (They didn’t do the truly adorable stuff the kittens do together though.)
Original Cat was my very first baby girl, a long haired floofy tortie that had all the hallmarks of a Norwegian Forest Cat, so said a Norwegian guy I knew! She was not a Norwegian Forest Cat, she was just a mutt, but it was cool to think about. She has been gone for 4 years now. She was a very sweet girl who loved everyone, liked being carried around like a baby, and would climb on top of you 5 minutes after meeting you for the first time. They both were sweet girls.
