These guys may look sweet but they’re actually little monsters. Still trying to teach them that they can’t climb the curtains or stick their paws in my eyeballs
With my old dog, I took an old comforter off our bed because got a new bed spread. I set it in the corner of the room, planning to take it to goodwill that weekend. Old Miss Dog decided that was her dog bed and she would no longer sleep on the bed with us. That old comforter stayed with us through two more moves and 4 more years before she passed away, and gathered a torn fitted sheet and an old sweatshirt in the interim 
So uh… I completely understand. We’re suckers over here.
TORTIE
More a neighbor than a pet but we get wild turkeys in our back yard sometimes.
This kitty likes to run around with her toy and growl ferociously at it. Sometimes she also meows at it in a pathetic way that sounds like she needs help.
I shared this on my journal but thought I’d put it here too. This is my crazy and/or genius solution to my kittens knocking over my house plants.
nods very wise. I just lived with no houseplants for a while and now have a lot of grass based plants for the cat to nibble…
My adult cat likes to tear cat grass out by the roots. Now that I’ve discovered this life hack I think I can finally have an indoor herb garden, and maybe grow some cat grass and give the cats clippings from it instead of giving them access to the whole planter. I was thinking about getting a mini greenhouse but this is much cheaper.
