My cat knows that she’s not allowed on the dining table, and that we can’t enforce rules when we aren’t around. We thought she was good at following that rule but one time we left butter uncovered on the table and she ate a few bites of it.
We also have three kittens and we’re still trying to teach them rules. We have to eat with one hand and fend off kittens with the other.

Maybe I have shared this fact here before, can’t remember… but my dog hates toys. She’ll occasionally get bouncy and throw one of her stuffys or rarely chew a bone, but she’s nearly insulted when you suggest she actually PLAY with a toy.
Well, after sooo many years of buying her any toy I could think of to try, I found something she ADORES.
Paper bags. 
I love my little weirdo so much.
She’ll throw them around, carry them from room to room, shred them, and sleep with them. I bought a pack and have been switching the bags out every few days.

I love your dog. I love these pictures. I love the abandoned actual toy in the background. I love how expectantly she’s staring up at the bags in your hand.

Lol, yeah. I still keep her toys, and people get her toys as gifts because she is cuuuuuute, but yeah- as you can see the toy is in nearly the same spot in both photos taken a week apart. Dags.

A friend who works nearby had Chick-fil-A for lunch and had seen her Instagram page and brought her the bag afterwards.
She proceeded to party like it was 1999.
My dog definitely has more friends than me.
