Yesterday’s OOTD

Mostly needed to document that not only was I able to pull my hair up for the first time in years, it actually looks decent!

Had a socially distant photoshoot because the dress form shots weren’t cutting it for selling the dresses & also got to shoot the new accessories today. Now I’m all dressed up for pizza date night on the couch with H.

I’ve come across an OOTD from 1998. I know it doesn’t really belong here but times are weird and I’m bored and sitting here looking through old photos on Mother’s Day without any of my kids with me…so I’m posting it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: This outfit is so out of character for me!

Bonus shots of Kid-1, Kid-2 with food on his face, and Kid-3 present but unseen, due 6 months later. You may all direct loathful glares at XH.

Time flies, y’all. Kid-2 is now the same age I was when this was taken.

That is really awesome.

Feeling a little cyberpunk-ish today. My over-ear headphones are peeking out from under the hood as both functional item and fashion accessory. Pretend I’m also wearing kick ass boots.

Universal Standard gave away dresses for the cost of shipping for Mother’s Day and I am IN LOVE with what I got. I love the company and pretty much everything about the way they operate. The dress is a gorgeous forest green but it’s night and I have no natural light to capture it in. I am loving this silhouette and the asymmetrical draping at the bottom. I might need this in every color and wear it as my uniform…

Oh golly that drapes beautifully on you :heart_eyes:

WOAH. That dress looks amazing. Is it as comfortable as it looks?

It totally reminds me of the stuff you make, BTW.

That’s gorgeous and it looks amazing on you.

Thanks! It is SO COMFORTABLE. It’s amazing. The fabric is lovely.

I actually made a dress in 2017 very similar to this, minus the draping. It was asymmetrical like this at the hem and a very similar fit through the body. This takes it to the next level with the drape at the bottom. It’s freaking great.

ETA; also the way it moves when I walk just makes me want to saunter around all day. It’s so good. The designers nailed it

Wow! What an amazing dress. I know for a fact I shouldn’t look into these dresses or I’ll own 17

…then I shouldn’t tell you they’re doing a sale where you get 2, 3, or 4 for a deep discount?

I checked their website - that dress looks so much better on you than on any of the models they show!

I didn’t realize until I saw my reflection in the bathroom at work how well I had matched my mask to my dress.
