Also wow. H was like “What about older models, lets compare stats!” and we find that the XS Max has basically all the size and features I want and is still a huge step up. AT&T wants $1150 for one and Apple doesn’t sell them anymore. An 11 Pro Max is $1200. WTF.

@Smacky I know I’ve seen where that’s from (graphic novel) but can’t remember the name exactly right now.
If I went fully apoc I’d have to make sure to do something more comfortable than what I wore to Dragon*Con years ago - I decided to be a merchant/trader person but also a southern belle so I DIYed a hula-hoop skirt and my smaller wears were tied to the skirt as a wearable showroom then another layer of fabric over it to cover them up the rest of the time. I also made a flattened bottle cap corset (inspired by scale mail) and holy shit was that uncomfortable. It fit with the concept as no one could gut-stab me to steal my stuff. If I can find a picture later on my other computer I might post it, that was fun.

It’s still ice cream over here. Has been for roughly six weeks. Walmart pickup would mean melted ice cream, which is sadder than none.
Perhaps I should make some, but I don’t have any cream either. I wonder if evaporated milk would work?

I really want to sign up for Disney Plus, if just to see Hamilton. And Boyfriend would love all the superhero and Star Wars content. SO not the time to take on an additional expense, though.

I make ice cream with creme anglaise base (so, eggs) with whole milk + half&half, if you have those. I’ve compared to that made with half&half + cream (the way the recipe is written) and I literally can’t tell the difference.

Trouble is, I really hate sweet coconut things. Curry with a coconut milk base is great, but coconut in candy or cocnut cream or Thai ice tea = ick.

But luckily… whole milk won’t be destroyed in a shipment from ye old Wally World.
