Is that what it is? I wasn’t sure if it was era or regional.
Hm, I don’t know… I’m from New England, and we do call some things differently than a lot of the country (or at least, in the past, maybe not as much anymore as we have increasing globalization…), see: pocketbook, package store…
I’m a 90s kid from the PNW and say denim.
What an awesome jacket!
Pocketbook = wallet
Package store = post office?
Pocketbook = purse. I didn’t think this was a regional thing. My grandmother (from Virginia) called it that.
Package store = liquor store. I think that is regional. Not used in the places I’ve lived.
Jean jacket, PNW, 80s kid
It looks amazing!
Crow wins.
OMG I am in grandmother territory now. I’m not that old I swear!
Oh, it’s regional! No one out west calls a purse a pocketbook. We know what you weirdos mean, but we don’t say that.
My aunts used to make fun of my mother for calling that. (My mother is from New England and my father is from California.) But also that she said it with a slightly Bostonian accent (paaacketbook )
(At least we don’t call all colas COKE!!! I’m looking at you Texas… )
Ah packies. I remember the first time I met Massholes and heard that. (Masshole said, of course, very lovingly, as I rather love Massachusetts as a state.)
I am an older Millennial originally from NY and I say jean jacket.
i think I say both?
These pants have a waistband but they’re super soft so it still feels like wearing leggings. I forgot I had them with my spring clothes but came across them while looking for something else.
It’s almost time for me to rotate my seasonal clothes. I’m probably more excited than I should be.
From yesterday, but I forgot to upload it.
So far today’s outfit is the same but no pants and I’m wearing my big fuzzy blue bathrobe. I should probably put on real clothes before a video call later.
Awesome t shirt!
Your haiiiiiiiiiir. I love it.
It hasn’t been long enough to do this since early high school. I was very excited this morning. My dad asked if I was cosplaying an Italian renaissance lady when we video chatted earlier.
No, it’s clearly Hoth Leia.
Lol, that’s what my husband said when he got home from work.
