Look! I got dressed today! It’s this, or what could be called, if you’re very generous, loungewear.
I think it’s loungewear!
I went from pajamas to workout clothes to different pajamas. I haven’t even made it into loungewear in a couple days.
Same. I will get dressed tomorrow.
No, this is my “dressed” look! Mostly I’ve been wearing loungewear but calling it loungewear is being generous. It’s kind of pajamas, but not even that nice. Not like real, matching pajamas. Mostly I’ve been wearing long sleeved, comfy, cotton shirts, usually old and faded and stained with some not-matching pajama pants or sweat pants. And my fuzzy slippers. So this workout wear today with a sports bra and shoes was a big step up!
Oh, sorry, I think you’re overestimating my standards for what counts as pajamas I have a bunch of long sleeved t shirts that all got downgraded from things I might wear in public to at home only (stained, stretched out, etc.) paired with either pajama pants that people gave me as gifts or old leggings in various stages of decomposition.
Fuzzy slippers are a very important part of a quarantine wardrobe.
Wool socks are critical to work from home on cold rainy days when my workspace is the kitchen with tile floors.
These are tied as my favorite socks. Mosaic color work for the win.
That is a very cool pattern.
OK, now I see. We have the same “pajamas” and that has become our daily wear. I just put in a load of laundry and it was pretty much all “pajamas.”
Wfh vibes - I think this sweater is from university days.
It goes with the CD collection and the Cranberries being my current soundtrack.
You’re going to make me bust out my Tori Amos CDs!

Work dress
Leggings
Blocky chunky weight grey slippers that make my feet look like illustrations from the Narnia books
Today’s music is Cake. We own 7 Cake CDs.
I love Cake. I think they’re my most seen live band.
The past couple days I’ve been dressing in full-work-leaving-the-house outfits, including crinolines and “real bras” so that I felt like I was working.
Today I woke up and said. Fuck it. Herringbone leggings, my fancy “work shirt that feels like pajamas”, and a cozy sweater.
LOVE IT.
That sweater is particularly sweet.
I will say, my productivity has definitely been lower since I started work 4 hours ago then the past couple days… Is it the leggings? will we ever nkow?
Do you truly normally wear a crinoline to work? I admire this.
about half the time I’d say. I have a lot of poofy dresses.
I guess if you wear them that often you get used to the bulk under your butt?
