OOTD: Share Your Looks!

Uniqlo was a good idea. They had a crew neck lambswool sweater in the right colour in the mens section, but unfortunately no cardigans. Maybe I need to go up and try Talbots. Or just walk into a Nordstroms on a slow day, give the sweater to a personal shopper and say ‘please’.

Maybe what I need is a faux leather button down or blazer instead.

Ya’ll ok with baby spam here on OOTD? His clothes are more interesting than mine.

I love the beetles on those pants.

This top was specifically made for a dress that is currently too small. Can’t decide whether it is ok with long sleeves under it as a vest type thing, or if I should stick to only over short sleeves.

I like it with the long sleeves!

I like the long sleeves with it. Nice color contrast.

This is similar! (Though not exact.)

So this jacket vest was one of my November splurges. The shadowy one says it is very Jedi, which probably is true, because the brand is Modern Wizard. This is probably also what happens when I can’t find a replacement cardigan. Jeans from a swap that I was planning to put back in next round, but maybe they work with the new boots? Perhaps not with the long jacket… proportion is hard.

The red half linen stitch shirt is making a reappearance.

I love that! I asked H to describe my style once and be called it “fashion Jedi” and I feel that’s pretty accurate

Why is she so tall? Who said she can be? You both look great but she is at least a foot too tall and too grown up

I know! She’s growing up so much! Very soon she will catch up to me in height and then she will quickly leave me behind.

Happy New Year, fancy folks!

Heading out with the final OOTD of 2019.

Dress looks black in that pic, but is actually kinda a petroleum green type colour.

Apologies, but Daughter showed me how to use Snapchat and I’m having too much fun with the filters.

My fuzzy pink sweater is super soft and it feels like wearing a warm hug.

I did not make it myself.

I had an idea for an outfit today, but apparently I don’t own that jacket any more. Since I last did a swap back in April or so, it was probably the right thing to donate it, but I am regretting atm.

Also, forgot how much Gap jeans shrink in length when washed. Which is very noticeable on ankle pants.

Sweater is Camaro: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/camaro-2 . The yarn (merino silk) deserves better than to be an oversized sweatshirt substitute, but there you have it.
